Full-Length Spatial-Temporal Transcriptome Profiling

The amount of transcriptome expression within an organism (i.e. transcriptome profile) depends on environmental stress, developmental stage, tissue type, and many other factors. Thus, the diversity of transcripts within an organism can be increased by sequencing an increasing number of tissues. Previous methods have mostly used short-read sequencing to identify potential transcripts in a given tissue, which can quantify the expression level of each transcript well, but limited in read length. At CD Genomics, we offer spatial-temporal transcriptome profiling using long-read sequencing technologies, including PacBio SMRT and Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms. The long-read sequencing can provide long reads and even ultra long reads, to obtain accurate information or complete structure of the transcript.

Overview of Spatio-Temporal Transcriptome Profiling

Full-length transcripts spatio-temporal transcriptome profiling aims to resolve the life processes and activity patterns of a species at the transcript level. By constructing isoform databases of different genes in a species, the service can resolve transcription and alternative splicing in different tissues, different loci, some specific cells and important periods, while mapping the full-length transcriptome fine map of cells/tissues/organ with spatio-temporal characteristics.

Our Service Can Help Researchers Achieve

  • Accurate and high-quality identification of time- and tissue-specific transcripts.
  • Dynamic functional network construction based on the full spectrum of transcripts.
  • Establishing an accurate and comprehensive database of alternative splicing of species.
